Neapolitano Dahes Grüner Veltliner

Neapolitano Dahes Grüner Veltliner

Vintage 2016, Grüner Veltliner

Winedetails: With the "wine blessing" on April 15th, 2015 in Krems, the successful cooperation between WINZER KREMS and the Spanish Riding School in Vienna has been continued. The general manager of the Riding School, Ms. Elisabeth Gürtler, named the great matured Grüner Veltliner after an extraordinary Lipizzaner horse: Neapolitano Dahes.

The wine: Fresh, rich and intense with flavours of peach and berry. Vivid structure, mineral nose, full bodied wine with lots of extract, but still not missing the typical peppery spiciness of Grüner Veltliner, long mighty finish.

Durability: up to 3 - 5 years

Serving Temperature: 11 - 13 °C

Fits to: It is a perfect companion to the Austrian cuisine and goes very well with “Wiener Schnitzel”. Its fruity character harmonises with many spicy dishes.
