Sandgrube 13

Investment for future

In summer 2019, we started the most extensive rebuilding work in the history of WINZER KREMS, which was completed in June 2023. A new cellar, a new wine bottling plant and a new bottle warehouse were built in Sandgrube 13. It is an investment in quality and future to be able to deal better with changing climatic conditions.

Progress of construction

Completed!

July 30th, 2023

Since August 2019, two new cellars, a new bottling plant and a logistics hall have been built at Sandgrube 13. It is an investment in sustainability and quality improvement that will keep us competitive in the future and secure the existence of our member winemakers. This was not an expansion of capacity - only parts of the building from the 1960s and 1970s were replaced.

Under the title "Wine.Time.New", the new buildings were ceremoniously opened on July 30th 2023 by the Governor of Lower Austria, Johanna Mikl-Leitner.
