Ried Kremser Obere Sandgrube Grüner Veltliner Kremstal DAC Reserve

Vintage 2022, Grüner Veltliner

Characteristics: The original Kremser Sandgrube is one of the most famous vineyards in the region and was mentioned in documents in 1208 as "Santgrueb". Juicy and fruity Grüner Veltliner with pear and apple aroma in the nose. Exotic hints of grapefruit, lychee and pomelo and melting spice on the palate.

Drinking time: Drinking fun from fall 2023! This Grüner Veltliner from the Ried Obere Kremser Sandgrube is a prototype of a powerful loess-soil Veltliner, but also has very good ageing potential over many years.

Serving temperature: 11 – 13 °Celsius

Fits to: This wine is the ideal accompaniment to the Austrian cuisine, especially with baked meals. Goes particularly well with strong and spicy dishes.
