Vintage 2023, Grüner Veltliner

Characteristics: The original Kremser Sandgrube is one of the most famous vineyards in the region and was mentioned in documents in 1208 as "Santgrueb". Juicy and fruity Grüner Veltliner with pear and apple aroma in the nose. Exotic hints of grapefruit, lychee and pomelo and melting spice on the palate.

Drinking time: This powerful loess-soil Veltliner has very good ageing potential over many years.

Serving temperature: 11 – 13 °Celsius

Fits to: This wine is the ideal accompaniment to the Austrian cuisine, especially with baked meals. Goes particularly well with strong and spicy dishes.
