Wine.Growing
The visitors’ tour starts in the vineyards. In the shadow of an original „Hiata-Hütte“ (watchman’s hut), the visitor enjoy a delicious taste of Grüner Veltliner "Kremser Sandgrube". Between the vines the guests can catch a glimpse of the baroque monastery Göttweig while the guide informs them of the importance of winegrowing in Krems.
Wine.Region
The Wine.Region room presents the environment of Krems by a birds-view photograph on a glass floor. It invites to walk through the vineyards in a few steps. The winegrowers who are the heart of WINZER KREMS are mentioned on the winegrower's gala. They foster and cultivate the vines for WINZER KREMS all year long and in autumn they harvest the grapes mainly by hand – because only the experienced grape-pickers know when a grape is ripe to be harvested.
Wine.Treasure
The treasures of Winzer Krems are stored here – noble vintages dating back to the year 1946. Aged, matured wines talk to us in a multimedia show.
Wine.Cellar
The oak cask cellar conveys the guest with a sacral impression. A wine altar forms the centre of the cellar. There, the visitor gets the next glass of wine which is the fine fruity Blauer Zweigelt. One of the walls shows a painting by Karl Korab, the oil painting is called the “winegrowers’ vintage idyll”. Three large windows allow a look at the impressive fermentation and storage cellar of Winzer Krems.
Wine.Film
The 4D-film is the highlight of the tour. It shows the winegrowers' work throughout the year in the vineyards and it also shows the fauna and flora of the Krems region.
Wine.Universe
Wine is universal. It pairs with many dishes globalwide. However, it cannot be confined to traditional rules. It wants to be explored and wants to explore at the same time. "Wine.Universe" invites you to get to know the diversity and worldwide omnipresence of wine with fascinating 3D holograms.
Wine.Gallery
The tour is almost accomplished – the visitor enjoys the next glass of wine. The Riesling “Von den Terrassen” rounds off the journey to discover the fascination of wine. And in the "living room of the vintner", it tastes marvellous!
Wine.Shop
In the well-stocked wine shop WINZER KREMS offers wines and various wine-related goodies such as fine chocolate of Wachau, apricot liqueurs and others.
