Characteristics: Greenish yellow; herbal and slightly peppery citrus scent with hints of gooseberries and lychee; on the palate aromas of peppermill and kitchen herbs; strong, herbal spice, vibrant, with a fine acid structure; beautifully balanced, a very typical loess soil Veltliner.
Drinking time: Now and in the coming 2-3 years.
Serving temperature: 10 - 12 °C
Fits to: Optimal companion of white meat (chicken, veal, rabbit) or a baked carp, as well as light offal (e.g. sweetbreads) and cold fish starters. Also suitable for Austrian classics such as Wiener Schnitzel and roast pork.
